About us
Greenpeace is committed to making the world a better place. Our goal is to ensure the ability of Earth to nurture life in all its diversity. As the digital IT team, our key responsibility is enabling the organisation's online fundraising and campaign efforts by being a strategic partner, all the while optimising the experience for our online audience. As part of Greenpeace's values, we do not accept money from governments, corporations or political parties. We aim to ensure a cost-effective, ethical and sustainable fundraising base to meet the needs of Greenpeace in the Nordic region.
About the role
This is a strategic and hands-on analytics role, supporting our digital, campaign and fundraising teams across the Nordic region. You’ll take ownership of tracking, reporting and A/B testing efforts, working closely with digital marketers and technical colleagues. Your insights will guide decision-making, improve supporter experiences, and support Greenpeace’s mission.
You’ll sit within the Digital Products & IT Operations unit — a small, cross-Nordic IT and digital team bridging technology and operations — and contribute to everything from campaign optimisation to data visualisation and organisational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate tracking across key platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Design dashboards and visual reports in tools like Mixpanel, Civis, and Tableau
- Co-lead and evaluate A/B tests to improve campaign and web performance
- Help shape and implement our organisational data strategy
- Connect CRM and digital data for a deeper understanding of supporter journeys
- Provide support, training, and analysis for teams to be more data-enabled
- Stay involved in data privacy discussions and compliance best practices
About You
We think you'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have at least two years of experience in digital analytics
- Are confident working with at least one web analytics tool, such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel, and Google Tag Manager (incl. server-side)
- Understand how to use data for campaign, engagement and business decision-making
- Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on data work
- Enjoy working across teams and borders, with good communication and facilitation skills
- Are fluent in English; Nordic language skills are a plus
- Share our commitment to environmental justice and a more sustainable world

Workplace & Culture
The heart of Greenpeace has always been its people. People are our special power. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by passionate individuals who work together for a greener world and to create positive change. Not all of us are activists; confronting wrongdoings in the frontlines, but what we all share is a quest for a greener and more peaceful future. Whether in a staff role, a volunteer with the actions team, or an intern keen to learn, everyone plays a special part in our campaigning network.
That same passion and commitment goes into everything we do, from organizing crucial campaigns and tactics, working together on projects, team gatherings, taking part in employee resource groups, organizing Nordic Annual Away Days, to office re-planting parties; taking care of our plants and trees.
Key principles that guide us are our Cultural lenses. The lenses support the culture we want to achieve while working together and have been created and agreed upon by all staff. In summary there are 8 lenses; Collaboration, Trust, Relational, Inclusion & Diversity, Openness, Agility, Accountability & Decision and Taking Leadership.
