The communications department works to design and reach out with Greenpeace campaigns and messages on how we can protect and preserve life on our planet.
We communicate Greenpeace activities, actions, surveys, reports, goals and successes to the public and selected target groups.
Our aim is to increase people's knowledge and ability to act, so that they, together with us, contribute to preserving biodiversity and a healthy climate. Our overall goal is to increase knowledge about Greenpeace's work and streamline our advocacy work towards politicians, companies and those in power.
We work to strengthen Greenpeace's presence in the media and digital media, and work actively to train and coach spokespersons to reach out to our priority focus areas.
Our employees work with press, video, social media, our Nordic websites, reports, communication campaigns and much more.
We employ, among others, communicators/press secretaries and content producers in photo and video production distributed in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
About Greenpeace Nordic
Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation that acts to change attitudes and behavior, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace. It comprises 26 independent national/regional offices in more than 55 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, as well as a co-ordinating body, Greenpeace International.
Greenpeace Nordic was established in 1999 through an association of the national Greenpeace offices in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. The offices merged to increase impact and efficiency through better Nordic cooperation.
